Egg Project

Today we visited a farm!

This lady owns 700 laying hens plus 1000 chicks plus more chickens that are sold for food. There were a few pigs also but she mainly has chickens to produce eggs.

This is where we will buy our eggs for our egg project!

Why eggs?

Eggs provide the following:

Eggs are a complete protein, meaning they contain all the essential amino acids needed for healthy body functions.

Eggs are high in B vitamins and choline, which can help support brain function and development.

Other benefits of eating eggs, included: hair and skin health, vision health and increased fullness from meals with eggs.

We are starting with the school where our sponsor kids go, Green Pastures. There are 121 students and 12 teachers/staff. Each child and staff member will receive 1 egg per school day. We are committed to one school year and we will reevaluate our success at the end of that year.

I am in need of 5 amazing people who will commit to $33 a month for 1 year.

Most these kids go to school hungry but if we start their day with an egg they will be able to be more focused on class instead of an empty belly.

Please prayerfully consider being the answer to this need. As always, I will keep you posted with each visit how the ministry's egg project is succeeding.

Blessings,

K
